This term we have really enjoyed cooking either a Victoria sponge (to celebrate our Victorian learning) or an Autumn muffin full of yummy vegetables! We learnt how to stay safe in the kitchen and how to weigh different ingredients.
Whole school Retreat to Westonbirt Arboretum on the Beatitudes. We did an autumn leaves treasure hunt and we enjoyed seeing all the different colours of autumn.
We have really enjoyed our Computing lessons recently, learning how to code and move items across the screen.
Year 5 had a visit from an artist who showed them how to use their artistic skills effectively. They used a range of materials and learnt how to blend colours together.
We have been identifying challenging words in our class text (The Cobbler of Krakow and Smok the Dragon) and looking these up in dictionaries. We have then added these ideas to our Magpie books so we can use them in our writing.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
