This week was Anti- Bullying Week, across the school there were lots of different activities and assemblies where we reinforced the message of spreading kindness throughout our school community and about how our school approaches bullying.
This included knowing what steps to take if someone is being bullied, ensuring our pupils know what to do if they experience bullying and how to be an upstander.
We started the week with Odd Socks day, an opportunity foreveryone to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!
We had some super sock combinations. Can you spot your socks in the photos?
We also explored this year’s anti-bullying week theme of ‘one kindword’, making a word wall of kind words we wanted to say to each other.
When we are kind, we inspire other to be kind and it creates a ripple effect that spreads outwards. Just as a pebble creates ripples when it is dropped in a pond. Acts of kindness ripple outwards, touching others lives and inspiring kindness everywhere the waves go.
Let us always chose kindness in everything we do.
