Florence Nightingale workshop

Class 2 welcomed Florence Nightingale into our school. Lesley Young from Freshwater theatre company ran a hour long drama session with the children exploring the life and works of this famous nurse. The children re-enacted the journey from England to Scutari and imagined they were in the hospital where they role-played being patients and nurses. It was a super experience! We were very proud of the children's behaviour and the interested they showed during the workshop. We look forward to finding out more about Florence Nightingale through our history studies this term. Well done Class 2!

RE - Our Psalm dance

The children created a psalm in the form of a dance. They thought about the things they were thankful for in our great world and came up with actions and movement to represent these wonderful things.
