We had a fantastic time at Westonbirt Arboretum on our whole school trip!
In English, we are reading The Dragon Machine. As part of our 'hook' lesson we handled tools, screws and pipes. We imagined what it would be like to build a machine!

In maths, we have been learning how to partition numbers into tens and ones.
We have been learning about Democracy. Some children prepared speeches. We then voted to decide who would lead some of our class responsibilities.
In our Florence Nightingale workshop, we learnt about what life was like for Florence, where she travelled and why she is a famous nurse.
