Dear Reception class,
As you start on your first full week of home learning, I hope you enjoy your activities and have lots of fun. It will be strange not seeing your faces everyday but why don't you start your days off with the school prayer, the days of the week and the what's the weather like today song?
In your home learning pack you have lots of fun activities to take part in. Why don't you try and aim to complete two activities a day. I have also included our writing toolkit and sound mats to help you write sentences, messages, speech bubbles, letters and so on!
Don't forgot to read everyday and practise your sounds. Remember you have got Phonics Play, Oxford Reading Buddy, Nessy etc to help you and how can we forget Geraldine the Giraffe learning her sounds on YouTube.
Also lots of children around the world are joining in with Joe Wickes PE session every weekday at 9.am. It is a great way to warm up our bodies ready for a day ahead of learning.
I hope you are taking good care of your broad beans and they are beginning to grow . It would be wonderful for you to send me photographs of you during your learning to my email. This email is also here in case parents get stuck on different activities or need to ask me any questions. It is reception.olor@bristol-schools.uk
Please take care, wash your hands and listen to your parents at home.
