Reception Class Term 3-4
This week our Reception Class had a brilliant experience on our train journey
Throughout the day the children noticed the different forms of transport. We started our journey from school on a coach which took us past the harbour and onto Temple Meads Train Station.
At Temple Meads the children were on their best behaviour. They had the chance to see different trains leave the station and were lucky enough to meet the station manager who was able to answer all of their interesting questions.
On our return to school, the children have been using their experiences in their work. They have been thinking about the question ‘What could you see…’ from the train window and have produced lovely drawing and sentences.
Reception class would like to thank everyone who accompanied us on the trip and a special thank you to the Station staff that ensured our trip was a success.
