Today, we visited the RWA Art Gallery. We really enjoyed looking at lots of different artwork. We created many sketches which we will now use to develop our own artwork, in school.
Today, we visited the Bristol Museum. In a workshop, we handled different artefacts from Ancient Egypt and then we explored the Ancient Egyptian Gallery.
Today, in groups, we went outside to create sculptures using the materials we found around us. We were inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy. They looked fantastic!
We have started our new book called The Green Ship. We created artwork from the description in the book and we also went outside to imagine how the characters might have felt.
In RE we have been learning about the story of Jacob.
We have been investigating how the volume of sound changes as you walk away from it.
