Every year Year 6 has an end of year retreat and Year 4 class attend a Retreat Day with the Newman schools at Clifton Cathedral.
This is a chance for the children to deepen their prayer life, learn about the Liturgical seasons and religious stories in greater detail through Art and Music, and take part in adoration.
Our whole school retreat to Westonbirt Arboretum - we began our day with a collective worship on the Beatitudes to help us to learn about our class Beatitude. Year 6 then led us in a class collective worship based on our class Beatitude. They made posters to help us understand the Beatitude and we responded to Matthew 5:1-12 in a variety of ways, such as passing a leaf around our class circle and sharing one thing we will try to do to help fulfill our Beatitude.

Year 5 retreat to Our Lady of the Rosary Convent. We focused on being 'Called to live and love' which links to our RE learning on the Sacraments of Marriage and Confirmation.
