Maths Day
Class 4 enjoyed lots of fun maths investigations and puzzles. First we solved the 1,2,3 magic square puzzle and investigating the statement When you divide an odd number you always have a remainder. Later, we went to the computer room to work on our multiplication and division facts using Times tables Rockstars. We are getting quicker at recalling these and have some ‘Rock Legends’ in our class! In the afternoon, we had a workshop with the Happy Puzzle company which allowed us to explore our puzzle solving and team work skills. It was a fantastic day which the whole class enjoyed. Mrs Arrowsmith was really impressed by everyone’s enthusiasm and persistence throughout the day. Well done year 4!
