Y4 enjoyed their visit to the Red Lodge. They found out how The Tudors dressed,their toys,handled artefacts and sketched Tudor woodwork and Dame Joan.
In Literacy, we have innovated our Mesopotamian Blue cat report into a Three Toed Sloth report. We have learnt the text with actions, planned and written it out..
In art we have been using mixed media to create Matisse inspired images.
In Maths we have been ordering and comparing decimals.
In Literacy we have been writing diary entries, setting descriptions and non-chronological reports inspired by the book 'Varjak Paw' by S.F Said.
Term 4- In science we have been investigating how different drinks will cause amounts of damage to teeth by using eggshells.
In Literacy we have planned and written stories using Pie Corbett's 'Talk for Writing' and The Great Kapok Tree story by Lynne Cherry.
During Mental Health Week we did lots of yoga, dance and mindful activities
We made Breathing Buddies as part of Mental Health Week.
We have been writing, typing and acting out play scripts in Literacy.
We had a super day together at the arboretum.
