Sports Premium

Our Lady of the Rosary RC VA Primary is proud to offer Sports Premium funding to enhance the quality and breadth of physical education for all pupils. This funding helps us provide a wider range of sporting activities, improve access to specialist coaching and resources, and support staff in delivering high-quality PE lessons that develop pupils’ confidence, skills and enjoyment in sport. We also use the Sports Premium to encourage healthy, active lifestyles through structured participation opportunities and opportunities for pupils to take part in competitions and events. We are committed to using the funding effectively to ensure every child benefits, and we will review impact regularly to support continuous improvement across our school.

Swimming

At Our Lady of the Rosary, we recognise the importance of swimming and understand the value it brings to our children. As such, every child is taught to swim.

The year 6 camp is also a water based where children continue to learn the importance of water safety and self-rescue to complement their learning in previous years.
