As a Catholic School we actively promote values, virtues and ethics that shape our pupils' character and moral perspective, through the teachings of the Church. We are confident that our continued focus on the Gospel Values will give our pupils the necessary awareness of what it means to be a good citizen in Britain today, and embed in them the building blocks of a future successful and productive life.
We are a diverse community, reflecting the breadth of Bristol’s current population. Consequently in our daily practice and in our school planning there is a commitment to respecting our community’s origins and beliefs.
The children wrote their own Charters in response to their learning about Magna Carta.
Key Stage 1 and Early Years Pupil Charter
We believe it is fair if everyone is allowed to play and nobody is left out.
We believe it helps us to feel safe if everyone follows the rules and is kind to each other.
We believe that everyone is unique and special
We believe we all smile in the same language.
Key Stage 2 Pupil Charter
We believe it is fair if everyone is allowed the opportunity to play together.
We play sensibly and safely so everyone is included.
We respect other people’s views even if we disagree with them.
Everyone has the right to speak and to be listened to.
Respect for Law
We all know and follow the rules of our school.
We know who to talk to if we do not feel safe.
We are free to share our views and express our individuality
Respect for Difference
We are all a unique gift from God.
We shall respect differences between people and their beliefs, in this country and throughout the world.
